TUNEinTHERAPY Terms & Conditions

​Welcome to TUNEinTHERAPY!

By booking a session or purchasing a service,
you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Please review them carefully.

1. Payment Policy

  • Payment is due at the time of booking or within 24 hours of the scheduled session.

  • Accepted payment methods: Credit/Debit Card (via Wix Payments) E-Transfer (to rebecca@tuneintherapy.org)

  • Clients are responsible for submitting invoices to their insurance provider for reimbursement.

 

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session will be charged the full session fee.

  • Clients may reschedule as often as needed, as long as each change is made at least 48 hours in advance.

  • No-shows are non-refundable.

  • Clients may modify their appointments through the online booking system, if available.

 

3. Refund Policy

  • No refunds will be provided for completed sessions.

  • Prepaid session packages must be used within 12 months of purchase.

  • Refunds for prepaid packages are available within 14 days of purchase, minus a $50 administrative fee.

 

4. Late Payments & Chargebacks

  • Late payments beyond 48 hours of the scheduled session may result in a $25 late fee.

  • Chargebacks filed with a credit card provider may result in a temporary pause on future bookings until the issue is resolved.

 

5. Confidentiality & Privacy

  • Your privacy is important. TUNEinTHERAPY complies with PHIPA (Ontario privacy laws) to ensure confidentiality.

  • Information shared during sessions is protected, except in cases where disclosure is legally required.

 

6. Service Limitations & Disclaimer

  • TUNEinTHERAPY does not provide emergency mental health services.

  • If you are in crisis, please contact 911 or your local crisis center. 9-8-8 (Suicide Crisis Helpline) can also be called or texted for individuals experiencing suicidal thoughts.

  • Therapy sessions are intended for emotional well-being and support, but outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

 

7. Communication Policy

  • All communication, including scheduling changes, should be made via email at info@tuneintherapy.org or rebecca@tuneintherapy.org.

  • Emails will be responded to within 1-2 business days except in the cases of time off or illness. In those cases, you will receive an "out of office" response to your email.

 

8. Updates to These Terms

  • These terms may be updated periodically.

  • Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
