About Me & TuneinTherapy
Hi, I'm Rebecca Goldstein

Why I Created TuneinTherapy...
I started TuneInTherapy to create the kind of therapy I wish more people had access to. Therapy that truly honors neurodiversity—or as I call it understanding that we each experience the world in unique ways. Change and healing can happen when you feel seen, heard, and motivated. Actions need to feel manageable and meaningful for us to commit. Sometimes it takes a bit of creativity to get there. That's where music, visuals, and personalized resources come in.
How Music has Impacted Me...
Music has always been my anchor. I grew up in a musical family where campfire songs and stacks of records shaped my world. If you're like me, music gets you through the hardest times. We can use that same impact to support your goals and understanding in therapy too. One moment I'll never forget? A non-responsive patient opening her eyes and smiling during a favorite song. Music speaks with more than just words. I became a Music Therapist in 2014 and more recently a Registered Social Worker (MSW). I blend both together in my approach. As a music student once said, More knowledge = more power!🎵😍
Lived Experience + Professional Insight
Are you looking for an approach where you can feel results right away and address the deeper roots of your challenges? I was diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood and also have many Autistic traits—what some call AuDHD. I bring both lived experience and professional insight to the table. I am what people call AuDHD. I have Autistic traits and I was diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood. This way I bring lived experience with professional insight.
Professional Roots, Personal Approach
I have worked clinically since 2014 when I became an accredited Music Therapist (MTA). I became a fellow (FAMI) in the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music. More recently I've completed my Master's of Social Work (MSW) and became a Registered Social Worker (RSW). I've worked with people who are dying, dealing with cancer, life challenges, relationship or communication challenges, and ongoing mental health or chronic illness, in additional to Autistic individuals and those with ADHD. Sometimes the most powerful support is being met by someone who gets it. I know what it's like to deal with chronic pain, complex grief, or uncertainty.
